We just lost an absolute legend. RiP Steve..... Thank for so much inspiration through the decades.✊
What a amazing man and now everything he made will live on forever
safe trip to heaven dear mr. Albini.
The last announcer plays the last record... RIP.
Joey Ramone's death hit me hard. And this one hit me ever harder. Shit.
Signing off. RIP Steve.
RIP Steve
Awesome video
Underrated album for sure
The first time I ever heard this song I was sleep deprived and 4 hours into driving on 128 to visit a friend. Thought for sure I was losing it lmao.
The last watt leaves the transmitter, and circles the globe in search of a listener.
IT'S THE WILD WILD WEST OUT HERE!
THEY PUTTIN TOWERS UP EVERYWHERE
HOLY SHIT
Have yet to hear them play this live, as I've only seen them live twice (once in 2019, once this year at Primavera Sound Barcelona). The nastiest fucking guitar and bass tones I have ever heard live bar none. So idiosyncratically dialed in, just totally characteristic and unique. First time I heard this song was maybe in 2018, on the come-up of a 2 tab acid trip. My house mate at the time asked if I wouldn't mind him playing some tunes while I came up. I had previously heard At Action Park but that was my extent of exposure to Shellac. He played 'The End of Radio' on the threshold between not feeling the acid and starting to have my senses and faculties distorted. The electrifying quality of this song blew my mind, as I started climbing to the peak of the trip quite rapidly. It has been forever etched into my brain's grey matter, one of my favourite music listening experiences.
Beautiful description of your come up. Shellac is top tier tripping vibes 👌.
Based
I'll never get tired of this song. So good.
anyone else here because AP bio?
This isn’t math-core. This is Rocket technology/atomic-core
wouldn't know about this banger if it weren't for AP Bio
I’m curious, how so?
Something about this track makes me keep coming back. When I was walking on a peer with some friends on a summer night, this song wouldn’t stop playing in my head. It’s hauntingly beautiful
lovely track.
Where is the footage from btw? is it just randomly collected videos of these signal towers falling or there is a specific source cause its freaking awesome :)
I can't remember now... I just searched for it on RUclips
this place rolls the video all over the rocks
Why is the video so freaking wide ??
I was experimenting
Why's your mom?

Listen to this, then listen to Vast by Brandon Coleman: ruclips.net/video/a6giPLuRBJA/видео.html
Truly stunning... especially when performed live.
This track always reminds me of Link Wray's Rumble. Sucks you into a trance!
Hearing this song, I always feel the world around me so cosmologically...
so about the video?? shellac or fan made? cause it's efn great you know
Kids my age need to stop listening to celebrities who made one song and now take their fame for granted. Kids my age should be listening to real music. Kids my age should be listening to Shellac.
i agree but thats kinda pretentious to say “real music”
young boyscout Steve Albini at 1:36
